The Academy of the Sacred Heart is an independent, 天主教, co-institutional college-preparatory institution.  The Academy of the Sacred Heart, 成立于1821年, offers instruction to girls, one-year-old through twelfth grade.

Moreau Hall is the residential living program at the Academy, 对女孩开放, both domestic and international, 8-12年级.

  • Work with the Division Head, 教务长, and school counselor to ensure that the social, 情感, and academic needs of the residents are met.

  • Actively communicate and dialogue with parents with updates about their child.
  • 雇佣, 火车, and manage residential advisors, including 火车ing program for summer staff 火车ing, creating work schedules, professional development, monthly staff meetings with the guidance counselor, 等.
  • 管理日常, 在一夜之间, and weekend schedules of all residents, including medicine management of residents.
  • Create activity programming that is rich in educational and cultural experiences for residents.
  • Summer cleanup of the dormitory, ensuring that all rooms are ready for move-in in August.
  • Update and manage the Moreau Hall Student Handbook.
  • Manage maintenance requests and needs.
  • Manage dietary requests and needs and coordinate menus with the dining services provider.
  • The Director of Moreau Hall is present for any emergency health issues at any given time, reports to parents about medical issues and all medical appointments, and communicates any issues or updates regarding health insurance and approvals.
  • Coordinate with mental health staff such as school counselors, psychologists and social workers when a resident needs specialized mental health support.
  • Manage the Boarding School budget.
  • Assist admissions office with prospective boarding school students - participate in Google Meet interviews, provide tours for prospective residents and their families, provide parents the opportunity to ask questions about residential life program.

● Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years experience in leadership, management,
communications, strategic planning
● Ability to travel domestically and internationally
● Outstanding leadership and collaboration abilities
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Proficiency with Google suite
● Strong work ethic and high level of integrity
● Strategic thinker and empathetic problem solver
● Safe environment certified
● Highly effective interpersonal skills and ability to interact with compassion, 同理心, and adherence to safety and procedural guidance.
● Give support as needed to the 招生 and Leadership teams
● Be a role model of integrity and fairness
